Pumpkin Farm

 One Sunday after church we went to the pumpkin patch with the Chandlers and the Nickells.  It turned out be a cold and rainy day!  Last year when we went it was hot and we were sweating so maybe next year it will be just right.

We looked at pumpkins and then rode the train

A Pirate's Life

 Sometimes you just have to dress up like a pirate!  We used my birthday as an excuse, although in my opinion you should never need an excuse to dress like a pirate.  Sarah made this awesome pirate ship cake, it turned out great!!  We filmed a video which if you haven't seen then please go watch it here on my sister's blog.  And now enjoy some pictures from the evening...

Weekend With the Trevinos

We were able to get everyone from Jonah's family together for a camping trip!  It was quite the accomplishment that we almost gave up on but then suddednly it all fell into place.  We stayed at Monatan de Oro and had fun going to the beach, fishing, eating, and hanging out.

Baking Days

 On and off on Thursdays I have been baking with my sister-in-laws and a couple of friends.  It has been a lot of fun and tasty too!

 So far we've made apple turnovers, cream puffs and pumpkin rolls, banana nut rolls and jelly rolls.

 

Since we've been home

We've been back from vacation for a month now so here's a bit of catch up of what we've been up to.

Heidi, Jaime, and I took a trip up to Bass Lake for the day. On our way up we stopped in Fresno to see some good friends Amber and Emily who just moved here.

I had fun with Heather and the kids at the St. Johns river one Tuesday morning.

Monty discovered a new position he likes to sleep in.

Jonah and I took a day trip up to Quaking Aspen, it was very beautiful and the weather was perfect.

Also Jonah has been enjoying his new job at PSC and I have been enjoying a break from work.  Although I have kept busy with cleaning out boxes and drawers, painting furniture, and various other things around the house.

Vacation!!!!
