A Little RoboTronic Technologic

Today Michelle and I came straight home from school to finish up an art project. The idea was that we were to create something three dimensional and geometric. The main idea was that the color would make the object appear three-dimensional without the use of hard lines (artist code for outlines). It took a lot of work because the pictures are pretty huge. We finally finished them and we were happy with results. SOOOOOOOOO, without further adieu here are our projects.

Changes

Michelle and I watched a video today about the people of Sudan and their 21 year long war and all the devastation that continues there. It is overwhelming to watch a video and see people live the way that they do there. Its almost like it might not be real but when you realize that it is your heart breaks. People should not have to worry about things that can be easily cured like diarrhea, kids should not be forced to kill other people or be soldiers, being scared for your life should not be a daily occurence, but these things happen. Americans so often worry about stuff. I looked at the hundereds of millions of dollars spent in each state for each politician and the totals are sick. I saw the amount going to the war in Iraq monthly and it was sick. It brought a few of us to tears today watching these people hurt. I had it tough growing up but never as bad as the people of Sudan and other countries like it. The world should know about these things, and when they find out, they should be disgusted. We should want to make this right if it means giving everything we have because these people have even less than what we would consider nothing.

Stuck in the 80's

This year's birthday party theme was an ode to the 80's. Here are the results...
