Harlow's Party

Harlow turned one on the 17th and her party was last Saturday. She had a cute cookies and milk themed party at a local park.

Opening gifts

Emery thought playing with this stick was more interesting than watching the presents get opened.

This is one of her new faces she likes to make.

Harlow got her very own cake to smash and eat. However, she wasn't too interested in doing either.

A little encouragement from her dad.

Playing with some of the new toys.

Emery thought Jude was a good new friend.

Silly Girl

Emery is usually a happy, goofy baby but the other day she was in an exceptionally good mood and just being so silly while we were playing. I tried to get some video of her but as soon as she saw that camera she just wanted to grab it.

Talking to the baby in the mirror.

Blowing raspberries at the camera.

Ladybug Trail

Jonah was supposed to have training for work on Saturday but it got cancelled. We took advantage of having more time together and went for a hike in Three Rivers. The drive to the trail was longer than we remembered but Emery did great in the car so it wasn't too bad. We enjoyed our time together and Emery liked being outdoors. We were pleased to find that it is still green and the flowers are still blooming up there (at our house everything is brown already).

Our little "hiker"!

He Is Risen!

We started Easter off with breakfast at church. Emery enjoyed the eggs that were decorating the tables while we ate.

Nickell cousins

Sweet little girls.

After the church service we delivered our memorial lilies.

We enjoyed the beautiful afternoon.

We finished celebrating with Chandler family dinner.

"Woman," he said, "why are you crying? Who is it you are looking for?" Thinking he was the gardener, she said, "Sir, if you have carried him away, tell me where you have put him, and I will get him." Jesus said to her, "Mary." She turned toward him and cried out in Aramaic, "Rabboni!" (which means Teacher). Jesus said, "Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet returned to the Father. Go instead to my brothers and tell them, 'I am returning to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.'"
Mary Magdalene went to the disciples with the news: "I have seen the Lord!"

Wading Pool

Jamie bought a little pool for the girls and they were able to try it out last Saturday. Emer didn't like sitting in the pool at first so she sat next to it and played with the water that sprays out the sides.

Soon we got her in and she enjoyed herself.

Poor Harlow hated the water and even being near the pool but eventually she warmed up to it and had some fun too (my battery died so I don't have any proof though).

Egg Coloring

Before Easter Heather invited all of her kid's cousins and the neighbor girls over for egg dying and a yummy treat.

Emery wanted to check it out.

Group shot of all the kiddos.

8 Month Wonder

Once again this post is late.  Some how blogging isn't the easiest or most important thing to do these days.

She can clap and wave.
She dances almost every time she hears any kind of music.
She is good at cruising on the furniture.
She enjoys when we read her books and show her pictures.
While clothes shopping if I show her a cute outfit she gets a big grin on her face.
She likes drinking water out of our glasses.
She still loves animals.
She has stood alone for a several seconds multiple times.
She trys to climb everything.
