Beach Day
Monday we took a trip to the beach with Buck and Jamael. We started things off with a little crab hunting...
Next we stopped at Avila Farms and got some super good ice cream and candy.
At Pismo we found Jerry, the sting ray
The boys digging Jerry out
Poor guy had been attacked by a shark and both his wings had been chomped off as well as a big piece of his under side.
We ended the day by eating dinner with Matt and Jenna Sarr at their house. It was a great day and nice to be away from the heat of the valley.

We made it back home from our trip with Heidi and Phillip. It was hard but good with many adventures along the way. I will be trying to post the rest of the trip on the bike blog so keep checking it out!

Summer Journey
Today we leave for our month and a half bike ride from Seattle, WA to Sacremento, CA! We catch a train tonight and will meet up with Heidi and Phillip in Seattle tomorrow night.
We are super stoked about the trip and ask that you keep us in your prayers for safety, unity, growth, and conversations with people. We can't wait to see what God has in store for us on this trip! Please check out http://www.biketrip09.blogspot.com/ for our trip. I probably won't be posting on this blog while we're gone but we are going to try and keep the bike blog as updated as possible.
Henry Wedding
Michelle and I were both honored to attend the wedding of Chris and Layla Henry. It was a blast! Chris, more commonly known as Chenry a combination of both first and last name, is a good friend of mine and roomate at Calvin Crest. The weather was nice and we enjoyed sharing in such a special moment in their lives. Congratulations Chris and Layla!

The Third
Since Michelle and I are going to a good friends wedding this fourth we are unable to see or set off fireworks. This caused quite the dilemna seeing as how the fourth of july is my favorite holiday. Im not the number one patriot or anything I just really like fireworks. So the choice was: A. Go to my good friends wedding or B. Fireworks. Of course we chose A. Then things took a turn for the better when I found out that there would be a "pre-fourth of july" fireworks show. Yesterday evening Michelle and I went floating with some family and friends. Floating is exactly what it sounds like, you take rafts or inner tubes and you start at one point in the river and float to another point. Its simple fun and incredibly relaxing. After floating my sister, brother-in-law, and neice joined us at the Visalia Rawhide stadium for some baseball and a truly grand fireworks display. So kudos to Visalia for having a third of july fireworks show.
