The Beach

Jonah took some time off work for our 6th anniversary at the end of May. We spent one of the days at the beach. This was Emery's first time actually getting to experience the beach. At first she wasn't too sure, she thought it was too cold and dirty.

 

 

 

We put her sweatshirt on and got her playing in the warm sand.

Then we got her down by the water and she enjoyed the foam.

Jonah finally coaxed her into the water...

And she loved it! The water was so cold and she was shivering but wouldn't get out because she was having so much fun running into the waves. She was soaked and fell down a couple times but she didn't care.

Tulip enjoyed the sand but hated the water.

Since we went Emery has been asking about the beach, I guess we'll have to go back soon!

The Zoo

A long time ago we took Emery to the zoo with the Nickells. Emery loved seeing the animals and reptiles and hanging out with the cousins.

 

My favorite part was these adorable tiger cubs!

Emery really enjoyed getting to pet some of the animals.

20 and 21 months

 

Emery is getting to be quite the big girl these days!

Sisters

So thankful for my sisters. I can't even begin to express my love for them and joy that it has been growing up with them.

March Camping Trip

We went camping with the whole Chandler family back in March. Some of the highlights included:

Hiking in the beautiful countryside.

These horses came and said hi to us at the end of our hike.

Eating ice cream at Reimer's.

Swinging in the hammock.

Playing in the dirt.
