The Hobart...

During Logging Camp Joy asked Jonah and I to make pizza dough. I had to call home to get the recipe since the camp usually uses frozen pizza crusts. Everything was going ok... that was until we turned the mixer on. I had only used the Hobart once before and that was for chocolate pudding and it didn't work out so well because the pudding was too liquidy so I had to do it by hand. So both of us inexperienced at it, we turned it on and it started splashing out of the bowl. I attempted to turn it down but accidently turned it up. Oops! In a split second (which was all it took for me to switch the mixer off) there was pizza dough all over everything especially me! I wasn't having a very good day to start with and so I just about burst into tears but instead Jonah and I started laughing so hard and couldn't stop. Despite the laughter I was still really upset and didn't have a very good rest of the day. We realized the next time that we made pizza dough (yes Joy had me make it again) that the bowl for the mixer isn't quite big enough for the recipe that we were using so that made me feel a little better.
