Logging camp

Last week Jonah and I had the opportunity to work as program staff for one of our two weeks of program camp here at Big Bear. There were about forty 4-6th graders for the Logging camp that Josh Kerr was in charge of. Jonah and I did the crafts every afternoon and a couple mornings, took part in the on-going skit throughout the week as pirate henchmen, cleaned bathrooms, helped in the kitchen, and also hungout with the kids during meals and campfire. It was a lot of fun and also very tiring. It was good to actually get to know the people who were at our camp, since the rest of the summer our only interaction with the guests is serving them food and cleaning their dishes. The food was better this week too, we had breakfast burritos and hobo packs for what I believe was the first time at this camp and hopefully not the last!

Roasting hot dogs for dinner. Jonah and I ready for crafts with our vests and bandanas

One of the boys cabins making a proclamation. Making candles during free time

Ben and Carlos (our favorite boys). Captain Cuddle Fish, R. Hero, Penelope, and Laura in the finale of the skit on the last night.

It's about you guys post stuff. Last night Heather said you had a new post up and I yelled, "I want to read it!" and ran in here. We are excited to see you both.
